Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg marries sweetheart

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg updated his status to "married" on Saturday.

Zuckerberg and 27-year-old Priscilla Chan tied the knot at a small ceremony at his Palo Alto, Calif., home, capping a busy week for the couple, according to a guest authorized to speak for the couple. The person spoke only on the condition of anonymity.

Zuckerberg took his company public in one of the most anticipated stock offerings in Wall Street history Friday. And Chan graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, on Monday, the same day Zuckerberg turned 28, the person said.

The couple met at Harvard and have been together for more than nine years, the person said.

Zuckerberg designed the ring featuring "a very simple ruby," according to the person.

The ceremony took place in Zuckerberg's backyard before fewer than 100 guests, including Facebook's chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg.

The guests all thought they were coming to celebrate Chan's graduation but were told after they arrived that the event was in fact a wedding.

"Everybody was shocked," the guest said.

Rather than his trademark hoodie, Zuckerberg wore a suit for the ceremony, while his bride wore a traditional wedding dress.

Food was served family-style and included dishes from the couple's favorite Palo Alto sushi restaurant. The two had been planning the marriage for months but were waiting until Chan had graduated to hold the wedding, the guest said.

The timing wasn't tied to the IPO, since the date the company planned to go public was a "moving target," the guest said.

Even after the IPO, Zuckerberg remains Facebook's single largest shareholder, with 503.6 million shares. And he controls the company with 56 percent of its voting stock.

The site, which was born in a dorm room eight years ago, has grown into a worldwide network of almost a billion people.

Zuckerberg founded Facebook at Harvard in 2004.

He was selected as Time's Person of the Year in 2010, at age 26.

Zuckerberg grew up in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.

busy week

I am very excited.

There's alot of work but thankfully we both have been able to work things out thus far.

I've been busy trying out wedding gowns as well as evening gowns.

I'll be getting my trial contact lens next week.

Busy trying out various designs for the wedding invitation cards.

We'll be shopping for our wedding bands.

More things coming up in the pipeline.

Have to keep praying and keeping our spirits up!

I only got 10 minutes and i gotta run..

So it's 6 more weeks and wedding bells will be ringing.

Life has been crazy because there are so many life changing decisions to make.

It's easy to get lost in all that busyness and I feel that you need to be strong and clear what makes you happy. What is that single most important thing that you believe in that will keep you going.

Sometimes I get unsettled and fearful even. At times like this, I frown a lot and question what is the meaning of life. Then I remember about God and try to keep my eyes just focused on Him and Him alone. It doesn't make all my worries or problems go away, but at least I know in my heart that He is there with me each step of the way.

I've been so blessed with this greatest gift of salvation. It's time to share this happiness and joy with all those around. Let's not let negative thoughts or negative people get in our way of sharing this pure joy with others around.

FAITH ?

i have already said all that i wanted to, done what i could to my very best.
and yet he still said that he doesnt know if i meant what i said. 
why would i say something like that just to please him ? . . . 

those were truly my heartfelt words.
and even when i had said all those, i didnt mean to shorten the verdict time in any way.
i will still keep to 28 March 2012. 

but my only two questions are: 
1) if you dont meet me at all, how would you be able to tell if i have changed ? 
2) what is the difference between 'i dont wish to meet you' and 'i dont see a need to meet you' ?

ADDICTION

Tolerance is the process by which the body continually adapts to the substance and requires increasingly larger amounts to achieve the original effects. Withdrawal refers to physical and psychological symptoms people experience when reducing or discontinuing a substance the body had become dependent on. Symptoms of withdrawal generally include but are not limited to anxiety, irritability, intense cravings for the substance, nausea, hallucinations, headaches, cold sweats, and tremors.

Too Much of a Good Thing

The blessings of God are great
As anyone can clearly see
And when done in moderation
We all can live quite free

That's the common sense He gave us
Each and every one
So practice it in our own ways
And His blessings will fill our days

Now that does not mean to take
The middle of the road each time
That just means to do what's right
And give glory to His name

For one will get smashed standing 
In the middle of the road
If one fails on which side to stand
At the very least when the Word is told
